Keep your eyes fixed on gold
As athletes train and prepare for races and events, the greatest goal in everyone’s minds is gold.
At Phakamisa HRM, we’re constantly testing our ability to ensure that we are ready when tested. Whilst much of our work is done in the gold mining sector and not on the athletics track, we also aim for gold – we strive for the highest level of outcome possible for our valued customers.
This year has served every business and every individual, without any form of discrimination, some of the harshest experiences we have seen in the last 50 years. Whilst the COVID-19 pandemic cannot be aligned to one of the world wars, it has certainly taken a war-like approach from every country in the world to fight off the devastating effect on our countries, communities, businesses and families.
At Phakamisa, one of the many ways we have identified making a significant and lasting difference is through our attitude to safety. It starts with every individual ensuring personal safety, but does not end with just looking after oneself, but looking broader and wider and making sure that our immediate environment, and also our colleague’s, are safe too.
By cultivating an enrolment that is “safety first”, we believe that we not only add incredible value to our teams of wonderful individuals, but we also achieve managing risk for our customers. The lower the risk, the safer the teams and the better the production.
While our gold is not necessarily a literal medal, we believe that we have achieved gold when we are able to offer injury-free services to customers who believe in us and rely on us to help them achieve their production targets.
Frikkie Vermaak, MD, says: “We would love the opportunity to share our philosophy with your company and to show you what we have achieved with most customers. We remain dedicated to building a powerful reputation of excellence and safe on time services. We certainly acknowledge that this is impossible without the dedicated team we employ. We are proud of each team member and their contribution to a safer more effective and efficient work environment.”
